Boogie Won't Drown

(Las Cruces, NM) Little Boogie is not a happy camper. He cries often and looks really sad. Fortunately he sleeps a lot too. To top off the pain he is in, his ego is hurt a little bit as he has to wear this pretty blue "life ring" for a couple weeks. Such a sad little face.



While I am staying home taking care of Boogie, Mike is taking the big dogs out on a hike each day. It's really cold so they are trying to do their hikes at a brisk pace. Slugger thinks this is very tiring.

All seemed fine when we went to bed Thursday night. But in the middle of the night we got very cold. As it turns out the heater stopped working (this is just one day after Boogie's surgery). When Mike got up in the morning he tried to fix it but he couldn't find the problem. Everything looked okay - it just wouldn't work. So no hot water and no heat!

Mike called all around but everyone is off for Christmas (people sure start celebrating early!) and won't be back to work until the Wednesday after Christmas. Unfortunately the temperature is in the 20's at night and the 40's during the day.

It's only been one day and I'm already tired of being cold.
