(Las Cruces, NM) In the late morning we got a call saying our part had FINALLY come in. I guess Overnight Service now means you send it on Wednesday and it gets there on Monday. Go figure that one!
Anyway, we packed up the RV and drove to the repair shop. They started working on it the minute we pulled in. But after putting in the new part, the unit still didn’t work. Turns out it was really a different part that was not functioning…and of course they didn’t have that part in stock.
So all we ended up with was another big bill…and still no heat. We then called a service guy in Phoenix who says he has the required part in stock. So we made arrangements to leave Las Cruces at midnight on New Year’s day and drive all night so that we can be in Phoenix for him to fix it on Wednesday.
Maybe, just maybe, we’ll actually get heat in a couple days!
