When we awoke Saturday morning the temperature in the RV was 47. Can you imagine how cold it would be without those space heaters going 24/7? I don't even want to think about it!
Talk about a true Three Dog Night! In our case though it just turned out to be a two dog night as we only have two dogs that like to sleep under the covers. In fact, it doesn't matter whether it's summer or winter, Slugger and Sparkie both insist on sleeping under the covers. Wazzu won't get on the bed no matter how hard you try to coax her. And Boogie sleeps in his crate.
It's much colder on the floor and we were worried about Boogie getting cold especially since he just had surgery. So we put an electric heating pad under his bedding to help keep him from getting too cold.
It's so cold during the day that Mike doesn't even want to venture out to hike the dogs. So we've just been staying inside huddled around the space heaters.
Little Boogie has been having trouble figuring out how to rest well as his head can't reach the floor with his life ring on. So Mike was nice enough to put his foot under Boogie's chin to hold his head. Finally Boogie could rest well.
Glad someone is resting well!
