We put her in a crate right next to Sparkie and only about a foot away from me. But before we could even start driving she was panting so loud she sounded like a freight train. And she was shivering so hard I thought she was trying to have a contest with Slugger to see who could shiver the hardest. It was a tightly contested event!
I tried to give her some treats but she wanted nothing to do with food at all. We drove four hours on Thursday and she panted and shook the entire time.
Today we drove just two hours and I'm pleased to say 2iggie did much better. She only panted for about 20 minutes then she actually laid down near the back of the cage the remainder of the trip. I caught her napping for a short bit a couple of times. So I think after a few more trips she might think this okay. At least I hope so!
We're in Las Vegas now for an agility trial over the weekend. Since we arrived early we had time to do some tracking with Boogie. He's coming along very well but shows no interest at all in the end article....which is the goal. He finds the glove fine but has no interest in it...he just wants to keep tracking. Hmmm.
