Trying to Stay Ahead of the Weather

We spend a lot of time now looking at the weather forecast of various locations as snow is predicted and we definitely don't want to drive in the snow. Plus, if snow is predicted that means it is cold! This year's route is definitely much colder than last year's itinerary.

So today we drove 275 miles to Fond du Lac, WI arriving just before dark. Fond du Lac is just to the south of Oshkosh and Winnebago Lake - for those of you trying to follow us on a map and learn some geography. After checking the weather forecast when we arrived, we've decided to leave here Wednesday morning as the snow is coming! As you might have guessed, it is chilly here. But there are a lot of fields and wilderness here in Wisconsin so the dogs love it.
