Race Track

Today was another long day of driving but it was made much nicer in the fact that we got to stop at our favorite pizza place for lunch. There used to be a lot of Pietro's around, but as far as we know there is only one left in existance and that is in Salem, Oregon. Whenever we are in Oregon we do our very best to stop at Pietro's. We always order one to eat and a few more to put in the freezer. Mmmm, it was so good!

We got to our campground and settled in. Then we drove another half hour or so to my parent's house. As we drove in their neighborhood we saw this very defined rainbow. And I swear you could see the end of it. This rainbow ended exactly on this huge house just across the bay. We rushed to get in the house so we could get a picture before the rainbow disappeared. We made it just in time as a few minutes later it was gone.

The dogs were so happy to see my parents, as always. Mike and I spent quite some time going through nine months worth of mail - mostly junk. We had a very enjoyable dinner and evening with my parents. While we were all downstairs visiting we could hear the dogs upstairs running around using the living room as their race track. They were so happy to have a big house to play in. And boy did they ever take advantage of it. Hmm, why don't they build RV's with race tracks?
