Repairs

I really don't like repairs. It's always such a hassle. This morning we had to drop the RV off across town to get the leveling system fixed. It's been broken for a couple months but the part didn't arrive in Oregon while we were there so we had to have it shipped to Minneapolis to meet us.

After dropping of the RV we had to stay busy for the day. So, since we were in repair mode, we found the Toshiba factory warranty shop and dropped off my computer that has been broken for close to two months. Getting warranty work done is almost impossible. They try to convince you your warranty period is over and ask for proof that it should be in effect. Then they make you jump through so many hoops - trying to wait until the warranty period is truly over so they don't have to fix it. Long story short, we kept after them instead of giving up so the computer is now being fixed.

Then we tried to find a place to hike the dogs. We finally found a place that had a lot of trails but only one or two of the trails allowed dogs - and on leash of course. It was a pretty trail but just not so enjoyable when all you do is try to keep three extension leashes untangled!

At the end of the day the new part was in the RV - although they didn't calibrate it so we are still crooked. So we're still in need of repair although at least we have a part that theoretically should work at some point.

Glad today is over.
