Happy Father's Day

(Olympia, WA) Today we drove from Woodinville down to Olympia to visit dad for Father's Day. We had a fun time visiting and watching the U.S. Open golf tournament together. It was suspenseful until the last hole so that made it pretty fun to watch.

Dad's pick for dinner was mom's homemade chow mien. I haven't had this for at least 20 years. It was so good! Great pick Dad! For desert we had strawberry shortcake with fresh locally grown strawberries. Yummy!!

We had a nice view of Mt. Rainier today as well.



We were just so happy to be able to be together to celebrate our love and appreciation for Dad. We are also thankful to have Mike's dad in our lives too. So even though we couldn't be with him we celebrated him today as well. While we were watching golf, he was watching car racing. I think both dad's though would have loved to have been out playing golf.
