Today we headed south for an agility trial this weekend to be held at Argus Ranch. We lived here for six months while we were waiting for our home to sell and for our new RV to be ready. So when we arrived today it felt a little bit like returning home. The dogs definitely remembered it here as they immediately went to check out all the feral kitty hangouts. They weren't disappointed as there were plenty of cats and teeny tiny little baby kitties. This is one reason there are too many cats without homes. But that's a whole other subject!
We had a great time greeting so many friends we haven't seen in close to a year. And what nice weather - at least for me. It was in the low 80's - just perfect for walking around visiting. I don't know why so many people were complaining about the heat. Wazzu tried to explain it to me!
Wazzu thought it was perfect weather for relaxing in the large grass field while Sparkie ran hither and yon.
She laid there for at least a half hour just enjoying the nice day. She was just so content.
Our good friend Will tried to rest in the field as well but he was very alert listening for one particular word....B-A-L-L. And when he'd hear that word he'd cock his head to the side. Too cute.
After a nice time in the field we walked around and talked to other friends as they arrived. We did have one moment where Wazzu got herself into a little predicament. But after a bit she figured it out.
We all had a relaxing afternoon so we should be all set for a fun weekend.
