Rest

Today we got up nice and early and headed out for Wazzu's chiropractic appointment. We met with Dr. Deleeuw and within just a few minutes she found the source of Wazzu's problem. Right in the middle of Wazzu's spine was very sore. All Dr. Deleeuw had to do was try to move Wazzu's spine and all the muscles in her back would crawl all over.

We were very relieved to have found the problem. Dr. Deleeuw was very gentle and kind to Wazzu. By the time we were done she felt she had been able to make a nice adjustment to Wazzu's back. She wants to see us back for a follow up in two weeks and would like Wazzu to rest for a couple days. Additionally, she'd like us to get an x-ray of Wazzu's back just to make sure there isn't anything going on that we don't know about.

We feel very encouraged and are excited for Wazzu's follow-up appointment. We called the regular vet back and were able to get an appointment for the x-rays tomorrow. In addition, we were informed that Wazzu's blood test came back and all the important numbers were within normal range.

So now we have two dogs that need to rest! What an exciting bunch we are....
