(CA to AZ) We got up bright and early today to head out of California. We'd been looking forward to leaving...but now the weather is nice so we're wishing we could stay longer. Oh, the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence.
It was a nice day for driving so even though it was a long day it was an easy drive for Mike. As usual the dogs were so good, each in their own spots doing what they always do. Boogie is sound asleep on his back in his crate, Sparkie is totally zonked out, Wazzu is lying next to me just staring at me the entire time, and Slugger is on his specially made doggy seat right up front next to Mike. He's been awake the entire time watching the road navigating as he always does. We are so lucky to have four dogs that travel so well....since that is their life!
We arrived at our friend's house and got all settled in just fine. The dogs love it here and are so happy to be back to one of their "homes."
Billie was really nice and watched Boogie do a little agility and then gave us some really good tips. Unfortunately, when I went to show Billie how good Boogie was on the teeter, he went blasting full speed ahead and flew off the teeter big time. Each teeter is different and he doesn't know yet how to make adjustments. I should have helped him a time or two on a new teeter. Bummer. Now, once again, he is afraid of the teeter. Darn it!! Back to the drawing board...or teeter board as the case may be.
